• So, there's this cartoon show called Adventure Time? And having no preceding knowledge of the show, I watched this episode of it, "What Was Missing," and --- uh, let's just say that a lot of things went down after it aired regarding the pairing of Marceline/Princess Bubblegum, okay? I suggest you watch the episode first of all. Then there's a timeline post of the events that followed and someone sums up their feelings on what went down during "What Was Missing."

I'll be keeping an eye out for what is going to happen next.

So, I'm guessing it'll be a little like this:

Quinn-Can-Always-Go-Gay : Utena. The hair. Nuff said.
Rachel : erh, Wakaba? Quirky personality and has some fairly odd fascination with a guy that isn't the nicest around. 
Finn : Saionji. Finn may not physically hurt women, but he sure does have his douchebag moments. Hence the nomination as Saionji. Also, complicated friendship with a certain Jewish boy.
Puck : Touga. They both like to stick their dicks in things. Nuff said. 
Santana : Juri *and* Kozue. I see Santana as being a mix of both their personalities. 
Brittany : Chu-Chu. They both say a lot of clever things. Too bad no one understands them. 
Artie : Miki. Comes off as nice to begin with, but the more you get to know him, the more messed up you start to suspect he actually is. 
Tina : Anthy. Says next to nothing, and no one cares about her opinion anyways.
Wait... does that mean we should all start shipping Quinn/Tina? Quinntina? 

Erh......

Okay, so, not really. That was me being the opposite of serious. :P

But, seriously, what's up with new hair colour?! And "Hell Is So Hot Right Now"? Ooh, has Quinnie been sinning after she got back from New York? Perhaps making out with either Santana/Brittany and/or Rachel? Looking forward to whatever the hell *that* storyline is going to be about, because, really, I love everything you choose your sweet teenage rebel ass to be, Quinn! :D It's very entertaining to watch, I assure you. Also, I just really like your ass. Period.

And the deadline is until the next sign up for Yuletide, which is in November this year, so -- that's a lot of time (she said and believed it in her heart of hearts...). I have my eyes set on one or two prompts, so... I guess we'll see what happens. :P

So, in a desperate attempt to get myself into the ~groove~ of this writing business, I'm offering porn in the form of drabbles. Everybody wants smut, right? Everything goes, basically. I'm open to all prompts, unconventional or not:

- Read Ash by Malinda Lo. Will someone please, please, please write some Ash/Kaisa epilogue fic for Yuletide? Or any other fest or for any other reason for that matter? *puppy eyes* 

- Look, I like beer, I like drinking it and relaxing with a single cold bottle in my hand on a warm summer day, but it's the packaging of this brew in particular that just... I don't know. 'What the hell' covers it nicely, I think.

- The game The Path: it's basically Angela Carter's Bloody Chamber meets Silent Hill in pure creepiness and disturbingness of what's implied in the imagery connected with each of the different girls when they meet their individual Wolf. For example, Carmen's meeting with her Wolf goes like this. /successfully creeped out./ I definitely recommend checking this game out, if not just the videos on Youtube, to get an idea of what this experimental indie game is like. If you like fairy tales and the darker tone the original version of Little Riding Hood had, then go check out The Path.

Is there a better way to spend the days before Christmas making your way through season 3 and 4 of Dexter?

I've been watching TV shows like whoa these last couple of days.  

Dexter: The only thing I have to say is omg, omg *flails* - how come I've only given this show a watch first *now*? Loved it. I really, really enjoyed the first season of this. Here's crossing fingers for the greatness to continue in season 2. And since Michael C. Hall had me remembering how brilliant Six Feet Under was I've started watching that as well.  

Glee: is brainless fun. It sure knows how to put songs in your head, though. I for one have fallen victim to I Say A Little Prayer, as performed by Aretha Franklin. I'll be tuning in for the next episode. 

Merlin: King Giles! And Katie McGrath is really unneccessarily distracting with all her pretty. Uh... they really weren't lying about the slashy subtext in this series, were they? Between Arthur and Merlin being bound-by-fate (boy)friends and Morgana and Gwen Fingersmithing scenes up, I'm entertained enough to hang around. Also, seriously - Katie. McGrath. Superman has kryptonite - I have Irish brunettes. *coughElaineCassidycough*

Vampire Diaries: I gave this a try up to episode 4. I'm... dropping it, for now. It's like Buffy, Twilight and aspects of True Blood got together and had some mishappen kid. I think I'll sacrifice it in favour of something else. For example Sarah Connor Chronicles. I mean, Lena Headey in a tank-top + acting totally badass = should be enough for everyone in the world to feel satisfied.
