Glee. 2x18: Born This Way.

- Man boobs and moustache! Santana's got a little artist in her like Quinn.
- "I'm a closeted lesbian *and* a judgemental bitch, which means one thing: I've got awesome gaydar!"
Hmm, I have thoughts about the line. It seems to be a case of: 'is this the *character* Santana's own thoughts or are they the ones voiced by the *writers* as being the character Santana's own thoughts? There is a difference, obviously.
- Oh my god, Santana -staring- at Brittany from a distance. "Why won't you love meeeee?"
- LOL, Blaine smiling at her as she goes "I've gotta gay... go."
- When Emma is talking about the t-shirts they are going to wear, the only two persons we focus on are Rachel and Santana and when the focus switches to Santana is the exact moment when Emma says "... because you were born that way." Coincidence?
- I really liked the Rachel/Quinn duet. Their voices played beautifully off each other. It was the sound of two girls in harmony. If you catch my drift. ;) Also, they sit next to each other during some kind of class. Someone, write fic!
- SANTANA/KAROFSKY! Being beards! "We play on the same team." Okay, loved that scene!
- LOL, Mercedes and Santana's *faces* when Mike and Tina start making out.
- Shut uuuuppp, Will! Ugh!
- Oh god, Santana mouthing Karofsky's lines. Lol. "And then something funny happened. Something called... 'love'." And Brittany's *face* right afterwards! Great scene. :)
- Hmm... I found the Kurt song really unnecessary. :-/
- And, yeah... the same thing about the Lucy Caboosey thing: it felt like they just needed an excuse to come up with *some* kind of backstory as to *why* Quinn has been presented as such an insecure girl throughout the series. Which I've always seen as being firmly rooted in the fact that her family is the way it is, coupled with the image of being the young perfect Christian girl who isn't allowed to make any mistakes which she's always had to uphold. I felt the 'ugly-duckling-turned-beautiful-but-is-still-insecure' story was just... unnecessary.
- That was an Ellen joke, right? Lebanese?
- "I *do* love you. Clearly you don't love you as much as I do or you'd put the shirt on and dance with me."
Santana shows up wearing the shirt, 'cause her baby told her to do it! Aaawww! She loves you, you stoopid fool!
- Chris Colfer should leave his hair more messed up in the future! It really suits him.
- I appreciate that the writers didn't make Santana go up there, seeing as she obviously wasn't ready to do it or felt comfortable performing the song. It would have felt incredibly forced.
All in all: this ep gave Santana and Karofsky a little character development, Kurt came back and Quinn and Rachel should really sing some more duets together!

"GAAAAYYYYY -- GOOOOOOO!" Also, Santana obviously isn't Lebanese! She's Russian!

~LIKE A BOSS!~

I wanted to give both Karofsky and Santana a hug here. Look at her looking down at her t-shirt with that sad!face! And look at him!
ETA: Song Spoiler!
In next week's episode, Rumours, Naya Rivera is going to sing "Songbird".
She's going to sing this while looking directly at Brittany with tears in her eyes, right? Right?! Why else would she perform it?
If she does, I'm going to go like this, I have no shame:
