▪ So, am I the only one who's been watching Jormungand? Because if that's the case - why? I really don't want to jinx it, but thus far this anime has been like a beautiful shiny diamond! A show with quite a number of females, all in positions of power who pass the three rule Bechdel test? A show that respects them? A show where women are just as dangerous as men are? This anime is like a unicorn! I definitely recommend it. Oh, also, there's a lesbian bodyguard who is awesome, so yay~





▪ I've been kind of really addicted to the Corpse Party games recently! Anyone play them? Because you should. They're really entertaining. And I guess I'm a bad person for finding this as funny as I do - [kinda big spoiler] - but, hey, it's the truth. And my favourite character, too, of course. :P Looking forward to the anime which is in the works and the Book Of Shadows game! Excited~

▪ Raymond Bell, Pastor of the Cowboy Valley Church of Virginia, Claims Stroking Horses Can 'Cure' Homosexuality - feel free to make up your own jokes about 'riding studs' and so forth.

▪ Seeing as Merlin is over, I thought I'd link to my Morgana fanmix which I made last year. It might be of interest to at least one person. *cough majorrogue cough*. ;)

▪ Finished reading The Rose and The Beast: Fairy Tales Retold by Francesca Lia Block (4.5 out of 5 stars) and The Two Princesses of Bamarre (4 out of 5 stars) by Gail Carson Levine.

don't you just love bomb girls!!! :D i am loving betty and im really interested to see where her story and her and kate's story goes! and of course they both have 2 secrets together now!!!

and as there are 12 episodes this season it will be even better! :D

Oh, Betty is just awesome~ I don't want anything bad to happen to her. Yeah, exactly - I'm interested in seeing where they are going to head with this. :) I secretly hope that Betty's beard is queer too, so they can support each other - that'd the ideal situation, imo. Otherwise someone is going to end up with hurt feelings.

i'm sure i'd be stoned for it if it got out but i want to see how they're going to do Betty trying to pretend she's straight!! sounds silly i guess but it seems a different angle on it to me! maybe beacuse it's the 40's and if it comes out it is SO less acceptable than now days!! I'm not sure that makes sense, but anyway!! lol!!

i thought that about Ivan too, but.... i don't thank they'll do it :( but he seems nice so he might be "okay" with her not wanting him!!??

Oh, absolutely! She really can't be completely open in any way - that's why it's so important she has a friend like Gladys who likes her no matter what her sexuality is. Betty/Gladys friendship 5evar! Where they're going to go with Kate and Betty is what will be really exciting to see - if they are going to end up together or be close friends or what.

Maybe - only way we'll find out is if we keep watching. :)

i did like betty and gladys's talk at the club, you could see how .... frustrated betty was with the whole situation and gladys just seemed to be thinking 'why are you doing/saying this?'

after the crap of other shows i'm looking forward to the rest of this one! :D

Yes! I loved that scene - not everything has changed since then. You still get straight people who are all like ".... oh, it bothers you *that* much/it frustrates you?" as far as straight privilege goes. Gladys didn't mean to make Betty feel down, but as a straight person she just doesn't get it. :P
